Google Summer of Code:

MediaWiki participated^[1] in Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2012. ^[2] Sumana Harihareswara managed MediaWiki's participation in GSoC and the backup administrator was Gregory Varnum. We chose nine students for this year's program, and eight passed.
