From August 2010 to December 2024, the support desk used a LiquidThreads and later Flow discussion system. The original Flow board Project:Support desk/Flow. When Flow was deprecated, User:Flow cleanup bot was run to generate wikitext exports of the Flow board, one for each month (organized by the first post in the topic), with revision history:
Although the Flow board was supposed to be marked read only in December 2024, a few people continued using it into January 2025. These are archived at Project:Support desk/Flow/2025/01, and overlap with the wikitext archives.
Note that, especially for the older exports, a lot of the bot's known markup formatting issues (listed on its userpage) are likely to appear - they have been cleaned of the most obvious errors such as unclosed tags, but may not be a perfect representation of what happened.
By topic archives (March 2008-August 2010)
From March 2008 to August 2010, the support desk was split into per topic subsections, as were the archives.
MediaWiki.org's Support desk went live in April 2006. Beforehand a few support questions were discussed on other talk pages, mainly on Talk:MediaWiki (now a redirect here, with the prior content at Template talk:Main page). The revision history of the support desk in this era is at Project:Support desk/old
