Page Linking Help Needed

Hi, is there a plugin that automatically links key words to other Wiki pages? At the moment I am manually creating links but I'm sure there must be another way?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Mediawiki Appliance Version 1.13.20 Problems

Downloaded rPath Mediawiki Appliance, Running it on VMwear PLayer but can't find the localsettings.php file to edit.

Can't find much documentation. Any help or documentation would be great!

Extension Licensing Guidelines

I was wondering if there were licensing guidelines for extensions. I am combined several extensions with MediaWiki and noticed that some of the extensions have licenses that are incompatible with other extensions (e.g. Affero v.3 with a majority of extensions under GPL v.2). There are also several extensions that have no license indicated--is there a default license if you are coding for combination with MediaWiki? I was wondering if there was already guidance or if there could be some written on these topics. Thanks.

mySQL database username

  • MediaWiki version: 1.15.1
  • PHP version: 5.2.9
  • MySQL version: 5.1.33

I am configuring MediaWiki, except the one part I am having problems with is when it is asking me for a database username and password and confirm password. Below that is the superuser account, which is root.

>>>Granting user permissions... Query "GRANT DELETE,INSERT,SELECT,UPDATE,CREATE TEMPORARY TABLES ON `wikidb`.* TO 'username'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'password' " failed with error code "Can't find file: 'user' (errno: 2) (localhost)". <<<<

But it will not let me continue the configuration unless I specify a user and password since it will not let me leave it blank.

I am installing on Windows XP, just need some help with this issue. I am not very familiar with databases, i know the root user account info, but it is asking for a username and password and confirm password.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Migration stoped umlauts from working

  • MediaWiki version: 1.15.2
  • PHP version: 5.2.13-pl0-gentoo
  • MySQL version: 5.0
  • URL: ------

Hi there, i just wanne describe my problem once again and maybe today there someone with an great idea, i have an wiki running, it was migrated from another webspace _whithout_ changing the database, the webspace are the same architecture, an gentoo webserver with equal configuration, so now, it stoped showing umlauts, even in preview mode and only when the side gets edited or is new, the old sides works just fine, So if i edit the side on the old Webspace it shows umlauts very well, if i edit the same side and go to preview mode then it just changes every ä ü ö to <?>, the encoding in evry file is set tu utf-8, the database as well, and in php and mysql config also. I created an php file which writes data to an tinyblob in the same database, and umlauts work. so it should/must be something within mediawiki itsel, but i really dont know where i should take a look. Remember the side is just migrated, with an tar cpf and unpacked at the new webspace, there was no change in the sources. Hope someone has an really good idea

regards Jörg

Vector font is way too small (totally illegible)

I have just upgraded from 1.12 to 1.16, hoping to refresh our site with the really nice vector skin. I followed the handy upgrade article and all went fine! I then edited the LocalSetttings.php to:

$wgDefaultSkin = 'vector';

The pages still render but the are now completely illegible. The fonts on all articles seem to be about 4pt! I tried a variety of browsers (IE, Chrome) but no joy. If I change back to

$wgDefaultSkin = 'monobook'; all is well again. I spent the evening trawling forums, but no joy at all.

any ideas?

Hello, I have been trying to use short url for my wiki by following instructions at Manual:Short URL/wiki/Page title -- no root access but could not achieve the results. My server is Apache and my wiki is saved at htdocs\Mediawiki. I have tried saving the .htaccess file in htdocs\Mediawiki, htdocs\, htdocs\sample_html, htdocs\Mediawiki\sample_html, but it didn't work. Whenever I tried to go to www.jainkosh.org/wiki/Main_Page, it throws error 404, page not found. This is what I have put in my .htaccess file:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteRule ^wiki/(.*)$ /Mediawiki/index.php?title=$1 [PT,L,QSA]
RewriteRule ^wiki/*$ /Mediawiki/index.php [L,QSA]
RewriteRule ^/*$ /Mediawiki/index.php [L,QSA]

Can you please help me in getting this working?

Thanks a lot, Vikas

I tried the same settings on Godaddy.com server and it worked fine there. Somehow on my localhost it didn't work and was giving 404. Works great on the godaddy server.

Also asked here: w:en:Wikipedia_talk:Signatures#Invalid_links_in_signatures_-_MediaWiki_1.15.1.

Something similar to early WikiWords?

  • MediaWiki: 1.14.0

Hey, I'm setting up a wiki right now and i need to know if it is possible to create variables/functions for strings in wiki articles and pages?

e.g.

wikipage
Some text on the page
And even more text.

So now i know for sure that ppl at my company filling the wiki will miss to add [[links]] to other pages from time to time. I just want to make sure that the links to other pages that exist will be created. So i need to know if it's possible (maybe using MagicWords) if i set the string text as a variable for the function [[text]]. I have no idea how to do that and if it is even possible :).

TOC/Numbered List Formatting Bug

There is a formatting bug when a left aligned TOC has a numbered list to its right. The indentations don't appear to occur and the numbers themselves are located within the TOC box.

I tried upgrading to 1.15.1 to see if it had been fixed but it looked the same. (I then went back to 1.12.0 because I was having trouble convincing 1.15.1 to allow page edits, but that's likely my issue)

Here's the simple code that my example page uses to test it:

''Special notice text''
{| align="left"
| __TOC__
|}
== Sample Section Heading ==

:#First item in an indented, numbered list
:#Second item in an indented, numbered list
:#Third item in an indented, numbered list

== Another Sample Heading ==

Searchfunction in Files

  • MediaWiki version: 1.15.4
  • PHP version: 5.3.0 (apache2handler)
  • MySQL version: 5.1.37
  • URL: Intranet

Hi there!

I've got a little question about the searchfunction in my MediaWiki. Is it possible to search not only pages fulltext but also a word or phrase inside of a file uploaded to MediaWiki? One Solution would be to create for every file a new Wikipage and Copy the text into it. This would be much work and i think there must be a better way. Maybe there is a plugin which can handle this?

Thanks for your help and i hope to hear from you soon.

Best Regards

Answer: there is a file in the main folder called 'LocalSettings.php'. This file contains your database username and password information. Check to make sure the credentials are correct - this solved my problem. I had a bad password.

I had a the same error because I hadn't installed the php5 pgsql drivers so mediawiki couldn't connect to the postgres database containing the content.

Database error when trying to edit pages.

  • MediaWiki version: 1.14.0

I get something similar now, after at least a year of the Wiki working perfectly. Now no writes are possible:

from within function "Revision::insertOn": MySQL returned error "1048: Column 'old_id' cannot be null (..."

This is in MediaWiki 1.15 and PHP 5.2.5.

No changes to code or settings was made between functioning and non-functioning states. However, God knows what the hosting service has done to contribute to this.

Hi, I'll try to make it short! I have installed 2 extensions for the wiki, the first one was: "PHPSecure" and the second one "StubManager" because I will use the <runphp> Tags in the wiki-site, wich is still a sandbox at the moment. After installation, I added this lines in the LocalSettings.php like in the descriptions: SecurePHP Extension:StubManager

require_once( "$IP/extensions/StubManager/StubManager.php" ); require_once( "$IP/extensions/SecurePHP/SecurePHP.php" ); $wgGroupPermissions['sysop']['bureaucrat']['coding'] = true;

So when I try to make a simple query,like:

<runphp>
require_once "db_mo_con.php";

    $sql="SELECT Marke, Preis FROM cigars WHERE id = 1";
    $result=mysql_query($sql) or exit("Fehler im SQL-Kommando: $sql");
    echo "<table align=\"center\" border=\"1\"  style=\"border:thin\" >\n";
    while ($row=mysql_fetch_row($result))
    {
        echo "";
        foreach ($row as $item)
            echo "<td class=\"Daten_DB\">$item";
        echo "\n";
    }
    echo "\n";
</runphp>

then the query works, but only in the preview modus????? When I try to save the page it gives this error:

Es ist ein Datenbankfehler aufgetreten. Der Grund kann ein Programmierfehler sein. Die letzte Datenbankabfrage lautete, SQL-Abfrage versteckt aus der Funktion „MediaWikiBagOStuff::_doquery“. Die Datenbank meldete den Fehler „1146: Table 'usr_web433_1.test_objectcache' doesn't exist (localhost)“.

wiki tells me that the Table (usr_web433_1.test_....) doesn't exist. this is right, the table doesn't exist, but I didn't ask in the query for this table. And why the query works in preview mode??? Can somebody help me, I'm not a PHP crack, and I'm driving crazy, since 2 days.. it is very strange..

Many thanxs in advance for your Help

What may be the reason to refuse the installation ? it sounds like DPL only is concerned by the issue. Because of the use of arrays as references in functions args ( LanguageGetMagic) ? see http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=51174.--77.199.136.200 11:48, 23 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Storing save_session_path not in the default PHP folder?

Since recently me and some of my users (but not all) are gettin the dreaded session loss error. I've tried troubleshooting, but so far to no avail. Is it somehow possible to force a setting in LocalSettings that forces the wiki package to use a local Session folder within it's own folder?

I tried using save_session_path="$IP/sessions";, but that did not see to do the trick.

Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :)

Hello,

I have been searching around, but nothing so far. My PHP skills are rudimentary at best. Normally when I click on "special pages" or "upload file". The page is blank, I have enabled error reporting, and I get this

.TMP File issue?

  • Mediawiki Version: latest
  • PHP version Latest
  • mySQL latest

When Users try to upload images onto the wiki, they get a error that states "Cannot find C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\PHP"X" Whereas X indicates a letter (currently PHPc.tmp) I've disabled Imagemagic(sp?) and I am still getting an error. Can I remote host the images and what tag would I use to embed it?

  • Mediawiki Version: 1.13.2
  • PHP version: 5.2.6
  • mySQL: 5.0.51a

Getting the same error message: "Cannot find C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\PHP"X" intermittently when uploading files. Tried changing upload_tmp_dir directive and other settings in PHP.ini but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know what might be causing this error?

Error deleting file: Could not create directory "deleted/d/2/n" (or the like).

Hi, I have the problem that I get an error message when trying to delete images from our wiki. It says: "Error deleting file: Could not create directory "deleted/d/2/n" (or the like).

I found that the permissions of the ./images/deleted directory can not be changed to 777. Apparently it was made (or is owned) by another user. I have no root access, so I can't chown the directory.

I also tried to create another directory (del), set its permissions to 777. And then included in the LocalSettings.php  :

  $wgFileStore['deleted']['directory'] = "$wgUploadPath/del";
  $wgFileStore['deleted']['url'] = null;
  $wgFileStore['deleted']['hash'] = 0;

This doesn't help either. Even worse, after trying to delete a file, it turned out that also the owner of del was changed...

Any suggestions?

-> I managed to resolve it myself, after browsing mediawiki and Google for the same problem. It turned out that Safe_Mode should be tunred off (search on Safe_Mode for instructions how to do that).

Hi folks,

I encounter the following problem when uploading a document. When I uploaded a document and then upload a new version of the document, I can't see the new version of the document when I download it. Another user can see it. After an hour or so I'm also able to see the updated document. I tried it with the IE and Firefox, same problem. I also emptied my cach and all other options within the browser, so I guess it has to do with the MediaWiki itself. Thanks for your support.

  • MediaWiki version: 1.16.0
  • PHP version: 5.1.6 (apache2handler)
  • MySQL version: 5.0.27-log

Uploading a 868KB JPEG image file results in the following error message:

Code line:

$src_image = call_user_func( $loader, $srcPath );

Uploading the same file on the same server with MediaWiki verion 1.12.0 works fine.

phpinfo() shows a memory limit of 32MB.

Solution

Used .htaccess file to set the memory limit. This worked for me:

no uploaded files in file-article

  • MediaWiki: 1.16.0 (on the same server an older wiki v1.13.3 is ok)
  • PHP: 5.2.12
  • MySQL: 5.0.90 (MyISAM)

When uploading a file, after the upload finishes, the browser opens a page where it says "No file by this name exists, but you can upload it."). Later I can see the file in the special pages file list (and I can download it), but in the corresponding automatically genereated article (e.g. "File:foo.gif") it says again "No file by this name exists, but you can upload it.")...

The problem strangely resolves itself after one hour or less, but anyway it is confusing and user will have to to wait before being able to link the uploaded files in the articles.

This problem has been reported previously but somehow has been tagged as resolved and moved into the archive | no uploaded files in file-article .

403 Forbidden error for newly uploaded images

I've just recently enabled Special:Upload but for some reason whenever a new file is uploaded it cannot be viewed. Although it appears in the NewFiles log the image appears as a box with a red "x" in the top left hand corner and when clicked gives the following message: "Forbidden. You don't have permission to access /wiki/images/1/13/Test_image.PNG on this server." I have managed to upload some images however, it turns out that whenever an image is uploaded it has a new directory created for it without the correct permissions which means I have to actually physically log in to FTP and adjust the permissions before the image can be viewed. • PHP version: 5.2.5 (cgi-fcgi)
  • MySQL version: 4.1.24-max-log
  • URL: www.medinabeekeepers.com/wiki/

I came here to figure out why my captions are not displaying properly. Looking at the Help:Images page, I realized that it's not my installation because I can't see captions under the Example Images in this wiki either. Captions display only when the "thumbs" or "frame" option are selected. With "frameless", "border" or omitted, the caption refuses to display.

Looking at the pagesource of the displayed page, the caption is apparently not even being presented to the browser in those examples.

If it's relevant, I am browsing with Internet Explorer 7.0 though I had similar problems on Firefox. Rossami 23:42, 24 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Turns out it's a problem of definition and explanation, not function. We are working to clarify the Help page appropriately. There does still seem to be a problem where the mouseover captions fail to display in some browsers. My current hypothesis is that it's an incompatible security setting. But that will deserve a separate writeup once it's reliably traced. Rossami 22:03, 26 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

So, I have edited the page which was not working on 1.13.2 and copied the data from other system where it is working with 1.10.0 and saved the changes. but the page is not saving properly and it is removing the '|' and also placing some extra characters to the data.

Even the table format is good also the page is not getting displayed in tabular form.

It works good when i create a new page with table format.

Displaying Categories in Pages

Sorry if this is the wrong place. I am fairly new to all of this.

I am looking for a way to use what I think of as more common database accessing within wikimedia where for example I add a word as a page and on that page I define the word, and the I have a page called words or something that goes through and picks out those pages based on them being in the category:word and spitting them out into a table. Is that possible? I have tried a couple of extensions, but no luck so far.

Thanks.

(RESOLVED) EmbedImg Extension, Advice rather than tech help needed on Images

  • Product Version MediaWiki 1.14alpha (r45489)
  • PHP 5.2.4-2ubuntu5wm1 (apache2handler)
  • MySQL 4.0.40-wikimedia-log
  • www.trialworks.com/wiki

Hello, This is more of an "advice needed" post. I wanted to use the Upload/Image functions in MediaWiki but I believe I cannot... my webhost does not give me easy access to php.ini and I really don't want to go through the headaches of making them enable uploads in PHP, so I've kind of given up.

I did, however, download EmbedImg Extension and absolutely love it. It lets me take a address to an JPG or PNG file and paste it into the wiki, and in turn it displays the image (Rather than the path). The problem is that it's parameters only let me change size, but not location. I need to be able to align those images "right" with text, so that it all looks good. Aside from the extension, I got around the upload system by writing, in ColdFusion, an upload agent. It lets any of my users - in a super simple fashion - upload an image to the site and obtain the link, which then goes into the Wiki Article. It's really simple but very effective for my needs.

So now, I am just dealing with a formatting issue. It needs to be uber easy for my users. How would you guys/girls handle the alignment or would you really work on getting the Wiki upload stuff to work (btw, I feel my ColdFusion app is easier to use for my users than the Wiki stuff).

Karl @ www.trialworks.com/wiki Thanks!!

Hi there,

I need help, cause I tried serveral times to setup texvc for our MediaWiki. I downloaded and installed the latest version of OCaml and run the 3 steps:

  1. Change to the "math" sub-directory of your MediaWiki install
  2. Run 'make' (or 'gmake' if GNU make is not your default make). This should produce the texvc executable.
  3. Enable $wgUseTeX and $wgEnableUploads in your LocalSettings.php and everything should work.

I've seen no errors during the make but the MediaWiki does still not find the texvc !!! I checked the math folder and there is an texvc...

how can I resolve the problem ???

thank you !!!

How-to restrict access to a Special Page? (Resolved)

  • MediaWiki version: 1.13
  • PHP version:  5.0

Hi,

I'm using the extension Extension:UploadCSV where I can update pages with an CSV file. As this extension can easily cause vandalism, I want to restrict the access for just "administrators". Like when trying to access this page as a normal user: m:Special:Block

I added:

$wgGroupPermissions['*']['uploadcsv'] = false; $wgGroupPermissions['sysop']['uploadcsv'] = true;

to LoaclSettings.php - but everyone can still access the page. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks, Chris

add to uploadCSV.php

// New user right - required to access Special:Maintenance $wgAvailableRights[] = 'uploadcsv';

function wfUploadCSVStart() {

       global $wgMessageCache, $ExtensionTitles, $wgOut, $wgUser;

# If the user doesn't have the required 'maintenance' permission, display an error if( !$wgUser->isAllowed( 'uploadcsv' ) ) { $wgOut->permissionRequired( 'uploadcsv' ); return; }

add to LocalSettings.php

$wgGroupPermissions['sysop']['uploadcsv'] = true;

Thanks.

Request for Enhancement / Extension: List of Tables and Figures

I already asked for this on Help talk:Magic words, but supposedly this is the right place for enhancements requests.

Could we please have some new magic words, __LOT__ and __LOF__, added for "list of tables" and "list of figures"? Maybe also combinations of those: __TOCT__, __TOCF__, __TOCTF__ for ToCs with tables or figures or both included, and __LOTF__ for a common list of tables and figures. I'm not keen on the L ("list of"), so if you prefer T ("table of") __TOT__ and __TOF__ etc. that is fine with me.

This should improve table (|+) and figure captions people write, but might result in follow-up requests for a way to differentiate between a short caption intended for the list of X and a long version to be used with the table or figure. — Christoph Päper

In short, I've got a page that includes a link to a target page. I'd like to include the TOC of the target page underneath the link to the target page so it acts like a jump table into the page. Is there an automatic way to do this, or am I stuck making and updating links manually? Thanks.

Linking pages by words

Hi, is there a plugin that automatically links key words to other Wiki pages? At the moment I am manually creating links but I'm sure there must be another way?

Any help would be much appreciated!

What I've done with our wiki is I built templates for specific key words. e.g. we do a lot of engineering, so for design & development I write {{design & development}} then modify the template to point to the appropriate procedures page. It's not quite automated, but better than manually adding a link. Plus, if the link ever changes, you only have to change the template once and the entire site reflects the new link.

How to add certain structured info to a list or table by an inputbox or submit button

MediaWiki 1.14.0 PHP 5.2.9 (apache2handler) MySQL 5.1.33-community URL local

I would like to make a list on a wikipage. This list must contain "name", "date" and "in" or "out" fields wich can be filled in by an inputbox. The goal is someting like a log for our users, so we can have an overview of who is taking hardware on the road.

Can this be done in wiki (php)? And how?

Thanks in advance.

How to add product feeds from affiliates?

Fatal Error...

I got this on a free webserver (so I don't have an access to it), after trying to save the page or to log in:

Fatal error: session_start() [<a href='function.session-start'>function.session-start</a>]:
Failed to initialize storage module: files (path: ) in /mnt/md1/public/d/o/dob/includes/GlobalFunctions.php on line 2453

What should I do now? :-D

Drkazmer

you will want to post what version of mediawiki you have. If you do not know, go to http://<your wiki url>/Special:Version. Without it, finding out what function is on line 2453 will be a guess.

I have got the same issue with mediawiki1.8.1, following and upgrade, was there a fix for this?

character before DOCTYPE "<<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC .."

  • MediaWiki version: 1.13.2
  • PHP version: 5.1.6 (apache2handler)
  • MySQL version: 5.0.45
  • URL: local

I got a character above the logo "<" and I don't know what is generating it
and it is always there when I use the rich editor "disabling the rich editor doesn't help"
also with every preview it appends one more character as follow
<
<
one more thing
viewing page source I find that character before <!DOCTYPE..
<<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC .....

looks like something is appending that character "<" to the (output stream) How to debug such behavior?

FireFox error console shows

</* generated javascript */

what could be generating that character "<"?

sounds like HTML vs XHTML but how it could be fixed?

In MediaWiki what could be parsing anything before actually parsing any page, this character '<' is appended before any page, in the editor, just everywhere on the top of the page before the wiki actually parsing the page content

embed copies of authoritative versions of pages from other mediawiki instances, sharing one page history between mediawikis

  • MediaWiki version: 1.13.3

  • MySQL version:

There appear to be many ways of including content from one page to another, including templates and the "embed page" capability (which seems restricted to Special pages). The terms "transwiki", "inclusion" and "interwiki" are used in a confusing way making it difficult or impossible to answer some simple questions:

  1. How, exactly and with examples, does one specify that the master or authoritative version of a page is at some other mediawiki, providing both a link to the editable version of that page and a visible & protected copy of it as if it were a page within one's own wiki (identical to the features of wikinfo?
  2. How, exactly and with examples, does one simply include an entire non-Special non-template page from the same wiki? Is it possible to include from another wiki that is hosted on the same MySQL installation?
  3. How, exactly and with examples, would one implement two-way transclusion so that the page could be edited in either one of two wikis, and the edits would be made reliably on the other to unify the page histories?
  4. Are there any good examples of public mediawikis sharing content in any of these ways with private ones?
  5. What other approaches, such as "auto-import of Wiki articles via XML using PHP's Expat Library" are used in Mediawiki extensions, and what are the advantages/disadvantages of doing this inclusion using XML rather than mediawiki's internal facilities?

Concurrent users and Add ons to Wiki

Do you know if there are any Microsoft word add ons that can be used with Wiki? Is there a way to lock a document so that no 2 users are updating the same file?

How to combine regular expression so that you get the number of contributors per article ? (Extension:contributors)

I would like to use a reg ex to get from: User1,user2,user3,user4,user5 ----> the number of users (here is 5).

So that i could use : {{contributors/Article}} in a Reg Ex to get the number of contributors in Article.

Then, how to get an average on every articles or articles from a special cat ? Thx!

What have I do?

I had to start new MediaWiki 1.15.0rc1 Installation but received:

Does MediaWiki have access counter function?

I want to know that how many times is every page accessed. Can every page show its access times as the home page(main page)do? For example, japanese edition home page show "このページは 1 回アクセスされました。"(English: This page is accessed 1 times.)

If MediaWiki has this function, how do I configure it? If not, do I need to modify MediaWiki's source? How?

Headings in included articles

  • MediaWiki version: 1.15.1
  • PHP version: 5.2.0-8+etch16 (apache2handler)
  • MySQL version: 5.0.32-Debian_7etch11-log
  • URL: http://www.wikiskripta.eu

There is a logical need to decrease heading levels (position when embedded + 1) of included articles in Wikiskripta. Does it exist any extension sorting the problem out? Maybe it should be reported like a bug, surely also in other Wiki-projects would be logical and useful to decrease the indluded heading levels.

Small icons above line when "Sitenotice" is being used

as you will see on the link provided above, there is a "permently protected" icon what is used on wikipedia.

the icon appears in line with the title when sitenotice is not being used

but when it is, it stays in the same place, causing the error on the page.

when site notice is being used on wikipedia, the icon stays in line

i would like to know how to make that work for my wiki

i do not want to use the {{{demospace}}} paramater on my wiki because i want to use my own custom padlock icons.

many thanks

Suggestion on name for internal page

Just silly question. At my company we have wikimedia installation and it works great. We decided to put links to forms and other compnay information, but only for internal use (we are medical company not internet/web commerce company). What is good term to call our new internal page? Wiki is too limited. This is more than only wiki. Someone suggest Internal Company Portal (after your "community portal" on main page). Do you have suggestion? What is most common?

Intermitent bug during data entry using Semantic Forms

  • MediaWiki version: 1.13.3
  • PHP version: 5.2.10-2ubuntu6.4 (apache2handler)
  • MySQL version: 5.1.37-1ubuntu5.1
  • URL: Internal Intranet -> no external access.

We are experiencing a intermitted bug during data entry using Semantic Forms using IE. The bug seems limited mainly to users who have logged in for the first time. Further this issue appears to only affect users of IE.

User creates account and log-in. User creates a new page using a form, enters data for all fields, hits the "Save Page" button and all the data is lost. If they re-enter the data, then saves, the data is retained.

No error messages are displayed. Any assistance welcome.

Thank you, Adam.

Security Settings for User Pages and Talk Pages
