Do you have small TemplateData tasks for new contributors?

AKlapper (WMF) (talkcontribs)

Hi everybody! Google Code-in (GCI) will soon take place again - a seven week long contest for 13-17 year old students to contribute to free software projects. Tasks should take an experienced contributed about two or three hours and can be of the categories Code, Documentation/Training, Outreach/Research, Quality Assurance, and User Interface/Design.

Do you have any TemplateData related idea for a task (needs documentation, or some code / code changes) and can imagine enjoying mentoring such a task? If yes, please check out mw:Google Code-in 2018 and become a mentor! Thanks in advance!

"need-volunteer" tasks

Elitre (WMF) (talkcontribs)

Hi there, Taskforce. How are you doing? Today I'm writing to let you know that I just tagged a bunch of tasks related to the visual editor as needing a volunteer (including the one that I mentioned on this page earlier), to show better that they really are up for grabs. Any help there is appreciated. Thanks!

Revisiting the FAQ or marking it as historical?

I am about to decline a task I made for myself a while ago, https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T127822 . Before doing that, I thought about coming here and ask whether someone else instead saw that as an endeavour that suits them and wanted to take care of that page. TYVM!

Hey everyone, would anybody be able to help the Macedonian Wikipedia in their process of getting their Cite system up and running? Thank you very much!

Automatic display of references in columns

Hey, heads-up about a long awaited change, Editing/Projects/Columns_for_references. This is opt-in, so if your community is interested, please read the page to learn more and find out how to enable this feature. Thanks, hope you'll like this!
