Warning edit

I'm not happy that you made this unkind comment, and I will not hesitate to block you for making further rude comments. The support desk is for people who can't figure things out, no matter how obvious it might be - is that comment really the best way to offer support for our software?

In any case, don't blank comments unless the author requests deletion explicitly. It is helpful for other users who might have the same issue to know about it.--Jasper Deng (talk) 16:10, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Jasper,
if you read the whole thread you will notice that the author really does nothing himself. It is his problem, not mine. But he is not even willing to do the most simple tasks. He could have saved us all the whole thread by just once using Google. Or the search here. Or he could just have followed the pointers I gave him. But nothing! He does not even spend the time to write just one complete sentence. He is not even trying to do what I told him. In this situation I won't invest more time than him in solving his(!) problem. I am sorry. I think he in fact should be glad that I told him instead of just stopping to respond without giving any reason.
And btw. I don't think that striking a complete post without giving any reason for it is helpful except telling you that this post does not belong there. For me this has the same meaning as blanking the page: remove it.
Cheers!
I don't care about how much clue the author has. It may not be obvious to him. As for the post blanking, striking is different from removing. That OP has been around for some time and he would not have simply struck if he wanted it removed.--Jasper Deng (talk) 16:34, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
It is not about his knowledge. People may be, sorry, stupid. I don't have a problem with that. But if I help them I expect them to accept that help and to learn do things themselves. We are not speaking about understanding Einstein's relativity theorems here. This is really basic stuff. People should not waste others time by stupidly asking things, which already are answered more than often enough and which can be found easy enough. As for striking this post: You neither can read his mind as I can.
Like I said, I don't care. What may appear stupid to you does not to him/her, otherwise they wouldn't ask at the support desk. I actually know the OP quite well on this site; regardless it's always helpful to others to keep the post.Jasper Deng (talk) 17:57, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
No one must stupidly ask things, which already are answered more than often enough and which can be found easy enough. If you think this is OK, then why don't you answer his questions? Your help is always welcome. Btw. in the future it would be nice if you would not try to block people just because you cannot accept that they have other points of view. This is so childish. Thanks.
Calling other people "stupidly asking" is a disruptive action, as I've told you repeatedly. Talk page access is going to be revoked.--Jasper Deng (talk) 18:06, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
Do you think, not being able to draw appropriate conclusions from cognition is clever? That is stupid. If you want to, you may also call it "his cleverness still leaves room for improvement". Oh, how politically correct. Still, with regard to contents it does not change a thing.
You've evaded your block yet again, so I've placed a rangeblock. If it is an appropriate conclusion you don't say it out loud, that's plain rude and is demeaning to the people asking for support.--Jasper Deng (talk) 18:21, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
