Proposal 2020-05-09

Currently, content translation sometimes prohibits publishing with warning.

However, as we have previously reported, this feature often behaves abnormally and it may be acctivated even though there are no major issues.

So I propose to replace prohibiting with warning.

I think that this modification can be done by the manager User:Amire80 himself/herself without delegating it to Wikimedia Phablicator.

So I request Amire80 to do it.

Thank you !!!

I have found that Amire80 is a man. --HaussmannSaintLazare (talk) 07:37, 9 May 2020 (UTC)

I'm not exactly a manager :)

And ideally, all tasks should go through Phabricator.

Incidentally or not, earlier today I discussed a very similar proposal in Phabricator: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T215403

It's possible that this will be done some day.

Hello Amire80 !!!

At the first, I want to ask you the next question.

Where is the rule which you wrote ? And when, where, how, and who dicided it ?

Thank you !!!

Hello Amire80 !!!

I read phab:T215403. But the proposal in it doesn't solve the problem of filter behaviour, which I have reported earlier.

Who wrote this proposal ?

Overall, all inhibitation should be removed.

Also, why are they considering this problem in Wikimedia Phablication not in mediawiki.org ?

Amire80 says he is not a manger, but the Content translation says that he is the product manager. What's the difference?

It is hard to believe that Wikimedia Pahbllicator is fully functional in eliminating the bug of content translation.

Amire80 cannot say that Amire80 is fulfilling his responsibility as a product manager simply by contacting Wikimedia Pahbllicator with knowing the situation andwithout trying to solve it himself.

Thank you !!!
