Talk:Contributors/Archive

FWIW, this title is a bit too generic. Typically, it would be a redirect to a help page like Help:Editing or Help:Editing pages. --Nemo 07:54, 30 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Nemo bis: And yet it did not exist before, so clearly there's no demand for such a redirect. Jdforrester (WMF) (talk) 20:43, 30 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

m:Channels#MediaWiki_and_technical, most of the people in the team can be found in lots of those channels (mainly the VE one, maybe). HTH.--Elitre (WMF) (talk) 09:16, 29 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Care to elaborate? :) --Elitre (WMF) (talk) 07:12, 31 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
The URL you gave returns "this page doesn't currently exist". --Gryllida 09:21, 31 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Team

Under Community liaison, the names "Keegan Peterzell" and "Sherry Snyder" both link to User:Keegan (WMF)/Notifications/FAQ/en. That's probably the result of a rather strange piece of wikitext inserted, probably by a quirk of VE, when the page was created. Deltahedron (talk) 20:59, 3 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, have fixed. Jdforrester (WMF) (talk) 21:08, 3 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

MediaWiki already matches OOUI PHP 5.3 requirements

Maintained libraries section says

  • The OOUI library for widget-based front-end development (currently JavaScript-only until PHP 5.3)

But MediaWiki already requires 5.3, Compatibility says since MW 1.23!? Is this a typo? Please provide to a phab bug. -- SPage (WMF) (talk) 01:39, 23 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

@SPage (WMF): Oh, right, yes, we found a way to do OOUI PHP even with PHP 5.3. Will fix. Jdforrester (WMF) (talk) 11:38, 24 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
