Hello !
I request adminship here, for block vandals, rollback vandal edits and protect pages. My contributions here - 241 edits, global - 1700 edits without unattached accounts. I'm former sysop of TestWiki (permission has been removed per my request on Meta) — Ferrer 10:57, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Sorry, but I won't grant you this request, you are quite new to wikimedia and mediawiki and most of your work on this wiki has been translation or welcoming new users which you can do without the sysop bits, we don't have much vandalism on this wiki and most are taken care of within minutes by a really active admin community and we rarely protect pages on mediawiki as well. Well i won't be granting you this request, but another crat might think otherwise, its their decision..--Cometstyles 11:18, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- forgot to mention that you are blocked on the Russian Wikipedia for socking ..--Cometstyles 11:35, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- I will have to oppose this request as well. All of your contributions here have mainly been translation work and such. While it is a good task and I am glad you are doing it, it simply does not demonstrate any experience in reverting vandalism or other aspects of wiki cleanup. Also, this wiki is mainly developer-run and not community-run (as is stated in the heading on top of this page), and we already have an excessive amount of sysops because of this. An extra sysop to do chores that rarely need doing just seems a bit much. --Skizzerz 17:29, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Hmm, i'm a former sysop on TestWiki (contributions · logged actions)... — Ferrer 18:03, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- There are no critical functions at Testwiki and no special requirements (activity or otherwise) for adminship there other than a vague sense of need and friendliness with various Wiki-Authorities. I may suggest that in the future, if someone asks you if you have any admin experience, you not mention Testwiki: It may well do you more harm than good to do so. Also, the link you created to your contribs page there is broken. I think I may have to oppose this request, sorry. :( Kylu 01:21, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
