FOSDEM (Brussels, Belgium) is probably the best community driven FOSS event in Europe. It's massive, chaotic and fun.
Like previous years, FOSDEM is organised at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Coordinates: 50°48′48.14″N 4°22′51.88″E

Lectures & lightning talks about MediaWiki or Wikimedia edit
Wikis devroom edit
- None?
- PHP and friends?
- See also Mozilla (discourse, HTTP/2, Persona, rendering and motivation all affect us too), Legal, LibreOffice,
- Individual related talks: OSOR, OSM, UX clash, Pandas
Wikimedia stand edit
- None, officially: https://fosdem.org/2017/stands/ (there's a Tiki wiki one though)
- If we don't pick a "default" stand, I'll probably be around those with people I know best: LibreOffice/KDE/Fedora, FSFE, Mozilla/GCI/GSOC, Debian/Haiku, Conservancy. Nemo 13:28, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
