Community Engagement Coordinator
👧 About me
Hello there! I’m Léa, working in the software department of Wikimedia Germany. My role consists in supporting and empowering the Wikidata community and other technical Wikimedia communities to work with each other and create great projects.
I’m coordinating several events related to Wikidata: the international conference WikidataCon (the first editions of the conference took place in Berlin in 2017 and 2019), the Wikidata distributed birthday, the workshop Wikidata Wochenende dedicated to the German-speaking community, as well as various other meetups, workshops and gatherings. I’m also supporting projects run by volunteers and other Wikimedia organizations, for example the Celtic Knot 2020, the remote hackathon 2020, and the Wikidata MOOC.
Since 2016, I’ve been taking care of communication between the Wikidata development team and the community. I keep supporting this effort and ensuring positive and constructive communication on several projects, for example Lexicographical data and the Wikidata Bridge.
Feel free to contact me if you want to chat about one or several of these things: the Wikidata community, running onsite or online events, where to get the best Wikidata swag, tips to travel to Berlin or Bretagne, Celtic music and dances, non-violent communication...
My current timezone is Central Europe (CET or CEST).
