Wikimedia Developer Summit/2018/Program
Schedule
editWikimedia Developer Summit consists of two days of pre-scheduled sessions. Please expect to be at the venue between 9am - 5:30pm on Monday and Tuesday to ensure you don't miss any sessions! The spaces available are described in the Room setup section.
All times given are in Pacific Standard Time (UTC-8)
If you need to take a break from the event to work or to use faster wifi we recommend the Berkeley Public Library or one of the coffee shops near the venue, if you are in the sessions please listen and / or participate to the topic at hand.

Tamalpais Room
editThis is the larger of the two meeting rooms. It is on the second floor of the venue. All participants can fit in this space.
Set-up: Theater style (no tables) in front of the room, classroom style (with tables) in the back of the room.
Audio / visual: LCD projector & screen, microphones, PA mixing board, power strips, laptop VGA connection, 8’ x 4’ magnetic dry erase board, a-frame flip chart holder/whiteboard
Kinzie Room
editThis is the smaller of the two meeting rooms. It is on the ground floor of the venue.
Set-up: class room setup (with tables) for 50 people.
Audio / visual: projector & screen, power strips, one mic, PA mixing board, 8’ x 4’ magnetic dry erase boards, a-frame flip chart holder/whiteboard
The Terrace
editThis is an out-door space with space heaters.
Breakfast, snacks and coffee will be served here on Monday, participants can use this space to take a break from the conference. No smoking on the terrace, smokers will need to smoke on the sidewalk.
Set-up: Picnic tables and round tables

Gallery (Tuesday only)
editBreakfast, lunch, snacks, coffee will be served here on Tuesday. It will also be used for lunch seating and a place for people to take breaks from sessions as they like.

Food and drinks will be served at a reserved space in the main restaurant and courtyard (Shattuck Building) starting at 5:30pm.
From 8:30 to 10:00pm, participants are invited to play games in the attached music venue space (the Durrant Building). This includes ping pong tables, corn hole, giant Jenga and Connect Four.
After dinner participants can arrange to go out in small groups or meet up at the hotel as they like.
