About
editThe visual editor is a rich-text editing interface and platform for MediaWiki.
The project started with the goal of making it easier for people who are new to successfully contribute to Wikimedia projects by offering an editing experience newcomers would intuitively understand.
Over time, as people came to value and expect rich-text editing capabilities, the visual editor began evolving into a platform that now powers a range of experiences that include:
