Dear Pginer-WMF, Welcome to MediaWiki.org!

May be interesting for you too. --Nemo 09:01, 12 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Pau. Re: mw:Beta Features/New Features#Better Interlanguage Links:

  1. Could you add a pair of "Info | Discussion" links, as the other sections use, or even just a "Discussion" link, so that we know where to give feedback? Thanks!
  2. The suggestion that I wanted to offer is: To specifically include any foreign language Featured/High Quality articles, in the "shortlist". Editors (and possibly readers) often seek these out whilst searching for ideas/sources. See bugzilla:40810 for many related links (technical implementation is still being worked out), and the Catalan/Spanish/Swedish links at w:Mona Lisa for examples. :)
  3. (Also, you need to invent/find/standardize the (names/keywords) for the "shortlist" and "full-list", so that people know how to refer to them in bugreports and documentation.)

Thanks for the feedback. I added the page for the project, and compiled the feedback I got from users through the mailing list. Pginer (talk) 12:33, 5 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
Thanks :)
Also, you might be interested in this script, and the current discussion to make it into a gadget: w:Wikipedia:Village pump (proposals)#Make SidebarTranslate into a gadget. I'll leave a note at the Extension's talkpage, too. –Quiddity (talk) 20:58, 9 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Review and Deploy Wikicaptcha

Hello, I have been a frequent contributor to mediawiki.....and as a part of contribution process is looking for project for upcoming Google Summer Of Code 2014 ........as mentoined in bug 32695 and prototype developed by Pginer my idea for the project is:

""Develop a captcha service with wikimedia commons images this captcha service

will comprise of some custom question with random keyword 1 and 2 .......upon selection of

random keyword 1, a question will be generated along with images fetched from commons

database, also there will be few images from another keyword 2 which will show some
images which will be not related to the question we can also take help of image

annotations as mentioned here (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Vitraux_de_la_basilique_Notre-Dame,_Genève_23.jpg).""

I therefore request you all to place comment into my idea regarding the project as i am really interested to work for this challenging but amazing project :) .

Eagerly Waiting for your reply.

Talk protection

Hi, I've unlocked Topic:S2fhpgk5oy0b60p8. We don't use protection in discussions unless we're forced to, and I don't see any vandalism or edit warring in history. Additionally, no reason was provided for the protection. --Nemo 13:27, 30 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

My intention was to mark it as "resolved" but it seems that the "lock topic" option on Flow was not what I was looking for. In fact the conversation was a very positive contribution, nothing close to vandalism. So thanks for fixing this. --Pginer-WMF (talk) 14:08, 30 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
