I have posted a fix for [1] but I guess you didn't get notified as you didn't star the issue ;-) Jean-Lou Dupont 12:36, 13 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Mitchelln, I saw your question on the HeaderTabs extension page about SMW Timlines. ...which leads me to believe that you got them to work. I copied a bunch of event pages from the ontoworld site and built a page with the same query as is on the ontoworld site and get absolutely nothing in return. Is there a switch in the LocalSettings or another element that I'm missing? I can't find any info about it or help on the Timelines specifically.

Thanks for any help. CWinDC 02:16, 29 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi there.
Here's an example from my mediawiki:
__NOTOC__
ADP Dates
<b>Required Dates:</b>

<br><b>Iteration Dates:</b>

Active ADPs
<br><b>Active ADPs:
</b>

New
<b>New ADPs:
</b>

<headertabs/>
This gives a tabbed page with two timelines on the first tab. The limitation I found is that if you put a timeline on any tab other than the first one you just get a blank grey box.
You don't need to add anything into LocalSettings, but you do need version 1.1 of Semantic Mediawiki. Timelines got added with that version. Also, one of your query return fields must be a date property. Required Date is such a field in my example above.
Let me know how you get on!

Hi there. You can only have a timeline in the first tab unfortunately. Both HeaderTabs and the Simile stuff are all nasty javascript that just don't get on together and nobody wants to fix them! Also make sure you have the latest versions of the extensions.
mitchelln ok, could you send me your email..p.s. keep in touch nishanstar@yahoo.com

Hey Mitchelln,

Just wanted to give you a head's up that my Facebook extension has left beta (first "stable" release in three+ years!) I encourage you to give the final version a try, and feel free to let me know if any problems arise. --Gbruin (talk) 14:14, 22 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
