Thanks!
Hello, thanks for working on Project:Language_policy/Migration_list (but please edit the list to note the pages you're working on, for quickier review). This page needs more work, a bit like in this edit: [1]. Let me know if something's unclear (docs have more info, too). --Nemo 09:48, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
- I fixed Help:Watchlist for you as simple example to follow: [2]. Now import the old text from all the existing translations to Special:Translate; I let Help:Sysops and permissions for yourself to fix. As usual, let me know what's unclear if anything (so that we can also improve instructions). --Nemo 09:53, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
Pages prepared for translation
editHi, does [3] mean you're done with those? I see translate tags still missing, some pages where there were further edits and quite some more work needed. Let me know if you can't proceed on your own without comments on what was done so far. --Nemo 10:52, 26 December 2014 (UTC)
- Manual:Translating extensions: please add tvar for those urls, they may change in the future. Also please replace languages template with languages tag next time. --Nemo 21:15, 26 December 2014 (UTC)
- Manual:Resetting passwords: we prefer shorter anchors, usually without spaces, so that the translators can quickly type them. Just a matter of style, but I usually prefer to use double newline (empty line) as a separator between units when possible, to reduce the number of translate tags "dirtying" the page. --Nemo 21:20, 26 December 2014 (UTC)
- Note, you can now also use the
{{#translation:}}
parser function to do (hopefully) the same {{translation}} does. --Nemo 15:06, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
