Feedback on JWBF

edit

Hello!

Thank you for contributing to the evaluation for JWBF, and for writing and openly licensing the framework itself. It is well written and actively maintained, and is the best Java bot framework that I found as I was evaluating these libraries.

I've suggested some TODOs at the end of the evaluation, and have filed issues on the Github issue tracker for each of them. If you have comments or questions, please feel free to contine to ask on the talk page or make corrections on the evaluation page if I've missed something.

For the final portion of my project, I'll be making improvements (development, bugfixes, documentation) to one library. It seems like JWBF could use some help with documentation, as well as some feature enhancements listed on the issue tracker. Would you be interested in contributions to JWBF in those areas in the next 2-3 weeks? I am fairly rusty with Java, so I would definitely have some questions about the library and it would be very helpful if I could collaborate and ask you questions.

Thanks ditto. Feel free to contribute and ask where ever you want :-) - (I prefer github, so it is easier to keep everything in one place) --Jwbf (talk) 11:25, 26 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
User:Jwbf, do you have 20 min available in the next day or two where we could talk on IRC or similar and I could ask you questions about the overall structure of the framework and how you expect it to be used? I'm usually on #mediawiki as fhocutt, on Pacific time. I'll ask some questions on github in the meantime, but if you can do IRC that would be helpful for my understanding. --Fhocutt (talk) 22:49, 30 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
I'll try it ( I use the nick 'eldur' -- currently at UTC+2); else github is also okay or email --Jwbf (talk) 15:01, 1 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
