Hello... I see you're interested in the Google Summer of Code 2014 initiative, so, I wish you good luck with that! If you're interested in small activities to get you started in this community, you might consider updating or creating translations from English into another language you know (example), taking screenshots to improve existing documentation, or a combination of both tasks :) You can find a couple of good guides here and here, and I'm available to provide further details in case of need.
