The HK SAR government should push harder on anti-smoking bill. Discuss. edit
Recently, the anti-smoking bill has been passed into law by the Legislative Council. It means that smoking will be banned in designated indoor areas of workplaces and public places from January 1, 2007. It includes restaurants, offices, schools, hospitals, markets, karaokes and bars. However, some indoor areas are not included. In this essay, I will firstly discuss why the HKSAR government pushes harder on anti-smoking bill, and then point out what disadvantages the bill brings to smokers and traders, and lastly restate my position.
