Starting conversion of LiquidThreads to Flow at mediawiki.org
Hello. I'm sending this to you, because you've been one of the top 50 users of LQT on mediawiki.org over the last 360 days,[1] and I wanted to make sure that you'd seen the announcement at Starting conversion of LiquidThreads to Flow at mediawiki.org. There are links in the topic-summary at the top, for other discussions (wikitech-l and Project:Current_issues), and a link to the planned process and timeline (scheduled to begin April 6, with smaller conversions at first). Please do test Flow out at Talk:Sandbox if you haven't tried it recently, and give any feedback/suggestions/requests at that main discussion location. Much thanks, Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 00:13, 28 March 2015 (UTC)
Hackathon
Nice to hear you're at the hackathon. Let's meet face to face and maybe talk of any doubt/need you have about i18n and translatewiki.net. I'm at the i18n table most of the time. --Nemo 07:43, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
Re: autopatrol
Thank you for your edits. ;-) --Nemo 17:28, 31 August 2016 (UTC)
Share your experience and feedback as a Wikimedian in this global survey
Hello! The Wikimedia Foundation is asking for your feedback in a survey. We want to know how well we are supporting your work on and off wiki, and how we can change or improve things in the future.[1] The opinions you share will directly affect the current and future work of the Wikimedia Foundation. You have been randomly selected to take this survey as we would like to hear from your Wikimedia community. To say thank you for your time, we are giving away 20 Wikimedia T-shirts to randomly selected people who take the survey.[2] The survey is available in various languages and will take between 20 and 40 minutes.
You can find more information about this project. This survey is hosted by a third-party service and governed by this privacy statement. Please visit our frequently asked questions page to find more information about this survey. If you need additional help, or if you wish to opt-out of future communications about this survey, send an email to surveys@wikimedia.org.
Thank you! --EGalvez (WMF) (talk) 21:27, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
About the upcoming conference - Transcripts?
Should we expect to see transcripts of the presentations being made, after the event is completed? DSquirrelGM𝓣𝓟𝓒 01:35, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
The event will be live streamed on YouTube, and the videos will be archived there. There will not be a written transcript.
- I appreciate the quick response here. Glad to hear it'll be available in some form for review later, for those of us that won't be able to attend. :) DSquirrelGM𝓣𝓟𝓒 03:04, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
Wikimedia Strategy Process 2017
Hi, I'm one of the 3 Meta Coordinators. Our task is to help various communities (track B) during the strategy process. Do you know if the MediaWiki Stakeholders' Group is going to create on this wiki a page dedicated for the discussions about the strategy so that anyone from the tech community could participate? If not, then one of us will do it. Thanks in advance for any reply! SGrabarczuk (WMF) (talk) 21:26, 16 March 2017 (UTC)
- ↑ This survey is primarily meant to get feedback on the Wikimedia Foundation's current work, not long-term strategy.
- ↑ Legal stuff: No purchase necessary. Must be the age of majority to participate. Sponsored by the Wikimedia Foundation located at 149 New Montgomery, San Francisco, CA, USA, 94105. Ends January 31, 2017. Void where prohibited. Click here for contest rules.
