Quiddity (WMF)
About me
I've been a Wikimedian since 2005. See my enwiki userpage, User:Quiddity, for details about me, links that I regularly use, and most of my volunteer contributions. I prefer to use the pseudonym "Quiddity" throughout, as a single name is easier for everyone to follow.
I live in Canada, and am interested in anything related to words, felines, connections, documentation, and design.

My work
From September 2013 until June 2018, I was working as a Community Liaison, helping to ensure open lines of communication between our editing community and the developers, and surfacing issues that are important to our editors. (Essentially, that means I tried to read everything (twice), to point the staff and the communities towards documentation or discussions that need attention and input, to investigate problems, and to compile potential solutions). From July 2018, I have been working as a Documentation Specialist, working to help advise on, organize, and assist with, the voluminous documentation that we need and have, primarily within the Community Engagement department itself but occasionally beyond.
I have worked with the Collaboration team (on Notifications and Flow), on Hovercards, with Community Tech, on various Movement Strategy projects, with Hackathon organizers, on an assortment of documentation-related tasks, with the Wikimedia Cloud Services team, and various other projects.
