hi Capmo, i just wanted to ask you something related with your post at Sidebar#Placing_the_search_box_at_the_top is there a way not to display the word "search" above the search bar? i put the search bar at the top of the sidebar but the reserved word *SEARCH doesn't let me to hide the heading. and when i edited the monobook.php i achieved the desired result but the search bar just didn't work. thank you very much --Biris 16:05, 3 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi Biris, you can change what is displayed as the Search header by editing the system message [[MediaWiki:Search]]. But unfortunately you can't leave it blank, or else "Search" will be displayed as default. The best I could do was to replace the text with a dot. Capmo 23:35, 4 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Indices in preloadparams edit

The new preloadparams[] feature doesn't support indices within the brackets. (If it looks like it's not working here, that's because the feature isn't deployed here yet. The links are fine.) Jackmcbarn (talk) 22:41, 7 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
