Infobox templates mismatch

Hi, all. Templates not matching between enwp and jawp: There are 43 articles on jawp translated from MDwiki, and 41 of them are screened/categorized as applying unknown parameters in their infobox.

Typically, CX2 users don’t have control over how the system picks a template on enwp, matching it with one in jawp and outputs: manually s/body needs to fix it. And cases are, if not fatal, the category will not go empty as not many works on boring tasks/chores.

  • is the matching table fully reviewed?
  • how can we get those med articles more fit before the output is saved on target wikis?

I have summed up with one example in ja:

  • contrasting which med infobox template is desirable on jawp.

I am pondering how to clean those 41 pages, honestly I lack med background.

  • either we localize that med infobox ;
    • pro is we could save incoming new translated articles;
    • con is we need a speaker acknowledging how many more templates med translators find fixable.

Will consult with your input on ja:Wikipedia:Village_Pump or 井戸端. Appreciate your insights, and of course tech knowledge from the Team. Cheers,

I see some of the templates have details not translated in the infobox. Will look into getting that fixed. Doc James (talk) 12:26, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
