Hello, are you on Windows or iOS/Apple? I have been encountering problems on my iPad. Are you not?
I was on Windows. It happened when I began the translation of a list (a board). Before that everything was normal.
Thank you for confirmation. Yes, I don’t know the reason but lists/tables sometimes fails to work normal. Too bad. I will try and see if de-ja translation on Bernsteinvorkommen on iOS13 fails as well.
I encountered a similar problem. The paragraph contained a #tag:ref template, so I think that is probably the cause in my case. En-ja, on Windows 10.
@JMGuyon Does the part where the automatic translation failed happen to be an especially large one? Apparently, there's a size limit. (see Topic:Vnxi7rcbumxtcwm4)
Yes, the board/table is huge, and I experimented de-ja. To avoid the table prevent me publish the translation, I only translated the section title. Published on my userpage, then added the table from dewiki with attribution. I will translate manually the table later.
It happens me, when there is #tag:ref in the code. I dont know if this tool uses VisualEditor or Parsoid, but VE and/or Parsoid has the same problem - you cannot edit #tag:ref in VisualEditor. Years are passing and no fix from devs, but Notes are widely used in the articles.
