Thanks for using ContentTranslation! Please let us know article name and source language to debug issue.
The article is titled H.M.S. Richards. Also, I can't work with the little box that lists his birth, death, family, etc.
Thanks. The publishing problem is being investigated. See https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T152144
As for the infobox, can you please explain what do you mean when you say that you cannot work with it? Do you see a form appearing that suggests to fill the different fields?
What I meant is that I can't work with the infobox. It says, "Not available in Spanish." I tried working with the infobox, but it doesn't want to work.
Hi,
This means that there is no infobox template in the Spanish Wikipedia that directly corresponds to Infobox clergy, which is used in this article in the English Wikipedia. You'll have to publish the article without it and then add it manually. I suggest discussing this with people who maintain templates in the Spanish Wikipedia. This blog post has some explanations about it, and I'm also writing more detailed documentation.
As for the publishing itself, we found the issue that is causing the "docserver" error, and we hope to get it fixed soon. Thanks for your patience!
I deleted the whole article to see if I could publish it without the infobox. It failed. I don't know what else to do.
Hi all, I've got the same problem with "Harry Potter y la piedra filosofal" from Spanish into Asturian (they have the same name).
Same here when translating the Iazyges article from English to Spanish (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:ContentTranslation?title=Special:ContentTranslation&campaign=contributionsmenu&to=es&page=Iazyges&from=en&targettitle=Yacigios). I get the 400 error even if I try closing and opening the translation again within the same browser (firefox) or publishing from a different browser (Chromium). If you need any additional information, just let me know.
Hello, Siciliathisma has the same bug : fr:WP:Questions_techniques/semaine_48_2016#Bug_de_ContentTranslation. Quick translate:
He tried to translate de->fr, po->fr, ... for different pages (Unterseeboot 759, Belsen Trial/Procès de Belsen for example in fr->en). He add that new translate template tool was activate (infobox in CX).
The CX page is read-only (when select some text and press baskspace, page is closed). When just click "add §" and click "publish", "docserver-http: HTTP ::400" then "page is saved" is present. The only thing that work is save a blank page.
Same problem for me with "Bristol 403" in french see http://imgur.com/a/AtwIc
Fixed now, thanks !
I have the same problem translating en:Jargoon to Spanish. The problem persists with chrome and firefox over windows and chrome over android.
I "killed" in the translation process the two template references inside the article (Template:Commonscatinline and Template:EB1911), and it works.
Obviously, I think so, the problem is the translation of the templates...
This will be fixed later today. I'm sorry about the inconvenience.
Hi all,
This bug is now supposed to be fixed. Please refresh your translation and try publishing them, and it should work.
See also the CXupdate blog post about this.
Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.
Hi Amire80, I'm trying to translate an article from English to Spanish, the article already says it has a translation in the Spanish Wikipedia, but it is not accurate and it is not really about the same thing. When I try to publish my translation I get "Error: docserver-http: HTTP 400" The full text of the error in Spanish is "Ocurrió un error al publicar la traducción. Intenta publicarla de nuevo. Error: docserver-http: HTTP 400". I have tried it many times and it doesn't work. The link to the original article is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operating-system-level_virtualization. Thank you for your help. Sorry, I didn't hit "Reply", so I'm pasting my comment again here.
