User:Brunoy Anastasiya Seryozhenko: Currently my focus is the Wikia, where I'm sysop and bureaucrat since March of this year. I have a few edits here on the MediaWiki.org, the majority are translations of manuals, extensions and help to the newbies. But becase the MediaWiki.org is lack of Portuguese speakers to help with the documentation of MediaWiki (The MediaWiki software is comming to be more popular in Portugal and Brazil after the advent of Wikipedia) I'm candidating myself to help with the extra work that this make happen. I don't mean to block vandals (we're lack of this too); I intend only to help deleting obvious pages which aren't MediaWiki's documentation (like this) and to help new users which are interrested in download MediaWiki, and adjust the user-interface to the Portuguese language (in others words, helping in a "soundless" way). During the time that I was sysop at the Portuguese Wikinews (from December 2007 to February 2008, when I have resigned for personal reasons), the biggest part of my actions are in to delete bad content for the site and edit the MediaWiki; in other words, I have experience on this). I don't want to collect sysop flags and understand if the MediaWiki developers needs someone more active on this. --Brunoy Anastasiya Seryozhenko06:19, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure what you will use the tools for, but to prevent further problems, I'll ask you to re-think, this applies to both Brunoy Anastasiya Seryozhenko and Jean-Lou Dupont and both your reasons seems childish for any Crat to take you both seriously, looking at both request, I believe neither of you actually need the tools at this moment, and I will advise you both to retract your requests since Simetrical has already made it clear before on his talkpage here , please read it before requestion for sysops or cratship on this wiki.--Cometstyles11:27, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You signed up to this site about two days ago. I would be happy to promote you if you've continued to do internationalization work for, say, a month. Until then, you can point me or any of our many other sysops to pages that are clearly nonsense, need to be deleted, etc. Come back in a month and I'll promote you if you've continued to do internationalization since then. Internationalization is one of the few things we do need sysops for. —Simetrical (talk • contribs) 21:32, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
