Question

edit

I'd put this more strongly, current standards support a unique favicon for any page, please could you implement? eg perhaps one per folder, as a start. usecase: http://elinux.org/Jetson_TK1 elinux.org hosts wikis for various embedded linux projects, such as Raspberry Pi, Jetson.... it would be helpful to have a range of favicons.

Would there be any way to make each page have a different Favicon? 126.79.102.10 10:39, 15 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Newer favicons

edit

The new trend for favicons appears to be PNG, with very large (192x192) icons. Are there any plans for MediaWiki to support these? 92.17.162.12 21:22, 21 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

And they should be multi-resolutional. However, what icon a website uses is up to the site's owner. MediaWiki will include this file then... --88.130.86.4 00:01, 16 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Great but we cannot upload a .ico file

You're showing a typical uploaded file path, but how can we upload a .ico file anyway ? Steff-X (talk) 13:54, 9 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
