De MediaWiki Language Extension Bundle geeft u alle code en installatiestappen die echt verplicht zijn om 'Translate' te configureren; deze pagina beschrijft in detail welke configuratie opties beschikbaar zijn in het geval u meer nodig heeft en niet genoeg had aan de installatie introductie en vereisten.

Gebruikersrechten

De extensie heeft enkele nieuwe gebruikersrechten:

Deze groep is optioneel. Het is niet nodig, alleen als er uit een externe bron vertalingen geladen moeten worden.

`translate-messagereview`	Vertalingen controleren	Staat toe dat gebruikers vertalingen markeren al beoordeeld.

`translate-groupreview`	Workflowstatus van berichtengroepen wijzigen	Staat gebruikers toe de workflowstatus van een groep te wijzigen. Deze groep is optioneel en is niet nodig wanneer de $wgTranslateWorkflowStates variabele standaard is uitgeschakeld. Indien ingeschakeld worden de workflowstatussen gedefinieerd in de variabele $wgTranslateWorkflowStates.

Configuratie variabelen

Deze documentatie is voor uw gemak overgenomen uit Translate.php. In de loop der tijd wijzigen soms de opties, dus als u twijfelt of deze documentatie nog wel actueel is, kijk dan eerst eens bij de documentatie van 'Translate.php'. Dit is overigens voor 2016-04-21.

Deze sectie is niet bijgewerkt sinds Translate is omgezet naar de extensie registration. Op dit moment is er geen goede manier om dit soort informatie automatisch te generen uit extension.json.

Probleemoplossing

Vertaalpagina is leeg of de fout 'Unbalanced `‎<translate>` tag' wordt getoond

Aangenomen dat de afsluitende tag ‎</translate> tag bestaat, de bronpagina is te groot. Dit begint bij enkele vertalingen al als de bronpagina circa 50 kilobytes groot is. Maak de pagina korter of verhoog pcre.backtrack_limit door het instellen van

ini_set( 'pcre.backtrack_limit', 400000 );

in LocalSettings.php of

pcre.backtrack_limit=400000

in uw PHP-configuratie (php.ini).

In TUX mode (de nieuwe UI) worden geen berichten getoond

Als u de $wgTranslateTasks heeft overschreven, controleer dan of de taak custom er niet is uitgehaald.

Het hulpmiddel wordt niet geladen in Special:Translate

Als u iets ziet als dit met eindeloze "Loading messages...", dan is ResourceLoader kapot:zet $wgResourceLoaderMaxQueryLength = 1024; of lager totdat het werkt.

Als dat niet werkt, heeft u eraan gedacht om de UniversalLanguageSelector te installeren en in te schakelen?

Het opslaan van de vertaling mislukt met de melding Unknown error: "tpt-unknown-page"

Dit gebeurt als de pagina gemarkeerd is voor vertaling maar de taak is op de achtergrond nog niet verwerkt. U kunt de wachtrij handmatig uitvoeren of beter stel het continue uitvoeren van de jobs in, zoals aangegeven in Manual:Job queue . Als dat het probleem niet oplost, probeer dan php extensions/Translate/scripts/createMessageIndex.php uit te voeren.
