Extensions
editThere was quite active work on many extensions this months driven by mostly volunteer patches (bolded) and code review help from the Language team. The team is working to reduce the backlog of open patches and aims to review new patches more quickly (more details). In this month the backlog of each extension either did not grow or was reduced somewhat.

translatewiki.net
edit- Raimond Spekking registered 7 new extensions (Login Notify, Upload Links, Wikimedia Badges, Page Assessments, Wikibase Media Info, Active Abstract, User Page Edit Protection) for translation and removed 2 (OAI, GoogleApiClient) and changes to many others.
- Siebrand Mazeland removed APC extension from translation.
- Niklas Laxström and Siebrand Mazeland registered Pageview Analysis and Revision Scoring projects for translation.
- New "autosync" (or continuous translation) feature has been tested and is now in regular use. All message changes for projects are synced to translatewiki.net three times a day (new messages automatically for non-MediaWiki projects; mobile apps are excluded). All translations are synced to project repositories either daily (MediaWiki projects, by Raimond) or twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays (other projects, Niklas and Siebrand) (mobile apps excluded). This helps to make messages available for translation earlier and also translation to get into use earlier.
- Project repository configuration is being moved to new system written in PHP and declarative configuration in JSON to simplify adding new repositories.
- MediaWiki Job runner setup was changed by Niklas Laxström so that new jobs are picked almost immediately rather than checking for new jobs once every minute.
- Uptime for translatewiki.net was 100% except for brief, less than 60 seconds, database maintenance jobs.
