Since you've been hanging around a lot lately...? :D Tuvok[Talk/en.wp] 10:27, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
No because you are writing an extension, that is pretty cool as far as I am concerned.

Pale Ravens

edit

Hi Zven. Thanks for trying to help me with the "internal link with name-value pair" issue. I saw you created a user account on Pale Ravens, and I granted you access as a writer. Not sure what you're intending to do, but ... hey, I won't say no to people trying to help me! Thanks again. --Töff 22:58, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

When I have time today I will get it going, I am just writing something on the support desk at the moment. --Zven 23:02, 27 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unblock

edit

Hello Zven, you know how large of a contributor I am here at this wiki. I was in my opinion unjustly blocked from Wikipedia. If you could put a word in at wikipedia:User talk:PatPeter, I would be grateful. -PatPeter,  MediaWiki Support Team 17:03, 24 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I can have a quick look however I will be impartial. There must be a way you can make a request for review of this blocking decision. I am about to go on holiday for two weeks and will be out of communication for two weeks --Zven 19:34, 24 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Reverted to Treeview3 from Treeview4

edit

Hi Zven!

Thanks for your work on Treeview! It's a lovely extension!!!

The company I'm part of is using Treeview to discuss/debate directory structures on Mediawiki. The London office was successfully using Treeview 3.5.7 when I migrated one page to the wiki of the Winnipeg office where Treeview 4.0.8 has been installed. At first sight the page looked identical, but as soon as I started interacting with the directory structure strange things started to happen. First, often one has to click twice on an icon to expand or collapse the subtree. Second when I try to expand/collapse a subtree, even if it actually doesn't expand/collapse, the cells of the table the trees are encased in behaves erratically, changing width even though they shouldn't. And interestingly enough they do so even if I click on the word "edit" at the beginning of the section. Interestingly enough, once I asked to revert to Treeview3, the problems disappeared. Right now we don't need the specific improvements of Treeview4, so there's no rush. But it'd be nice to know if we can fix it, so that eventually we can upgrade to v4 or even v5 when it's ready. Any idea of what might be happening? Ciao! - Manu3d 11:06, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sven is on holiday for a couple of weeks, but anyway Treeview3 and 4 were written by me (Nad), Sven wrote the DTree integration for Treeview5. See what happens with Treeview5 as 3.x and 4.x are not being worked on anymore. Let me know the MW version you're working with and HTML source code of pages exhibiting problems. --Nad 20:05, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

How to keep CategoryTree stayed opened after going back?

edit

When I am going down in one category and subcategories (depth 5-6), after loading the specified category and then hitting the "back" button on the browser , the category tree is folded again. Is there any chance the tree stays opened? Please reply ASAP... How to keep nodes expaneded even after clicking back button in browser.Any code changes to be done in Categorytree extension? It would be great to have the tree expanded to the current page after clicking any article , so that the users can get a quick impression about the location of the current article in the overall context.--Satyamcompany (talk) 19:32, 28 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
