Hey Andrew,
I've finally had time to properly read your essay. Congratulations, it's great!
Below are a few comments and questions that could help you improve your essay:
- What is your OS? This would provide interesting context regarding the installation :)
- It seems that this was the first time you installed a web server; is that the case? Did you have any experience at all with PHP, MySQL or a installing a web server before? If you didn't, then what you accomplished is a really good job!
- You mention several documentation pages you read on the wiki, some where you saw instructions, or warnings, or requirements, or the "Hello world" tutorial. Do you think you could add links to those pages in your text? It would make it interesting for people who read your essay, since they could check out the page directly, instead of wondering what page it might be :) To add links, you can add them directly inside your text, or you can use the syntax with double square brackets if you feel adventurous :)
You still have one day to improve on your essay (I can add another day if you'd like). Just so you know, I'm very satisfied with your work and I'll pass your task regardless, but I think the essay would be even better if you could add a few details about the things I asked in my feedback above.

Hi! Some translation units here look too long. Moreover, it's not really a good idea to translate the preferences names manually, you should use the int magic word: go to uselang=qqx to see the keys for the preferences' names and use them in the page. This will also help you identify the obsolete preferences mentioned in the help page. --Nemo 10:18, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

看到您翻译了这里的很多内容，尤其是帮助部分，为中文用户提供了方便。我注意到您在翻译时对内部格式的处理还不太熟悉，在翻译的同时没有将格式保留在译文中或改变了，例如 Help:Redirects/zh#雙重重定向中的 page move 内部链接在翻译后变成[[Help:Moving a page|移動頁面]]（应该译为[[Special:MyLanguage/Help:Moving a page|移动页面]]），这样会给中文用户的查看带来麻烦：前面链接到英文页面，后者链接到用户界面语言的页面。
