Dear Tuvalkin,

We would like to remind you that a Code of Conduct (CoC) applies in all Wikimedia Technical spaces, including MediaWiki.org.

While we support a free discourse, we condemn personal attacks and other CoC violations. One of your recent comments () is inappropriate and violates the Code of Conduct, as it personally attacks others (namely, members of the Web team).

Please help to make MediaWiki.org a happy place for everyone to collaborate by re-reviewing the text of the Code of Conduct. In case you have any questions, you can contact us via techconduct@wikimedia.org.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,
Martin Urbanec (talk), Code of Conduct Committee

Sure. However, I feel that WMF projects is being slowly eroded and its days of making the world a better place are numbered. And any manifestation of how that trend is distressing me personally and thousands of other user like me is never accepted. So, I must keep my views to myself or vent them in the remaining safe spaces, for any dissent will, at the very least, be reverted as a personal attack.

Or maybe I’m wrong? Maybe there is a place somewhere in the discussion and comments pages where vibrant dissent against the gamification trends pervalent in the WMF management is welcomed and considered? Asking for a friend…

Wikimedia Foundation Inc. is corrupt and bad. The Web team is a particularly egregious demonstration.
