Hi Star Warden,

thanks for your help on the Support Desk. I appreciate it when people get involved there - also because we only are a few, who are answering there.

However, I noticed that you are sometimes closing topics, although the OP has not responded to our answers. I think this is a problem: First because the OP - often it's IP users - can no longer respond to the topic. And second because we do not know, if we really solved his question. It would be great, if you could watch out for if the OP stated that we really are through with the topic before you close it. :-)

I usually wait a few days before closing it if there's no response, since I figured the OP has resolved their issue, otherwise they would have posted immediately. However, I will increase my 'closing' time to at least a week, which I think should be sufficient for everyone. │Star-Warden06:23, 20 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
That's great!
If someone does not answer, we basically do not know why it is that way: It might be that he just does not care to say thank you, which sadly will be the case sometimes). But it might also be that he just has other stuff to do and that he just had not had the time to see our answer.
