Hello! Now that your non-Wikimedia GSoC is over as well, it would be really helpful if you could update the page with a timeline of your expected future commitment to the project. People keep asking when development work will resume (if ever); and a rough timeline is needed to plan future rounds of feature upgrade & user feedback, WMF developers assistance, wider deployment. --Nemo 11:28, 6 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi Nemo! Yep, GSoC is over, but college is back on, sadly. I'm committed to this project, and I did review a couple of the submitted patches last week. Help needed for Urdu Wikipedia

Hello,

Hope you recall our meetings in Italy and Mexico.

This year we discussed the issue of having "automated user notification" and "deletion discussion pages" for Urdu Wikipedia, just as we have on English Wikipedia.

I request your guidance on the matter.

Hi, English wikipedia uses Twinkle to facilitate the Articles for Deletion process. See this link. Unfortunately, Twinkle is a gadget (made by a volunteer) which only works in English. My suggestion is that you modify the Deletion template in Urdu to point to a central page (Like "Articles for Deletion" in Urdu) where the users can discuss the deletion instead of pointing them to the talk page of the article. Sister projects

Thanks for bringing up the matter of sister projects at Wikimedia_Developer_Summit/2018/Participants. As for the English Wikipedia experiment, I hope it will really be such (and not like the 2005 "experiment" of preventing unregistered users from creating articles), because it's not hard to show with data that it's a bad idea. --Nemo 14:24, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
