Documentation for tutorials

edit

If anyone has input for the tutorial documentation, that will live on after the Berlin Hackathon, please drop me a line. We need to gather as much info as possible to make the docs enduring! Danielle Benoit (talk) 08:02, 4 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Feedback?

edit

If you read the information at Running a Fabulous MediaWiki Tutorial, would you please leave some feedback for me here? Everything is open to comment. But, I would specifically like to know if I've used too many idioms or too much slang for non-native English speakers/readers. Thanks for the feedback! Kudos & Feedback

Hi Danielle.

Kudos on the tutorials.

I've also been working on tutorials based on berlin and other sources, but I am exapanding the format developed by Wikipedia's adoption program, with the intension of researching/operating a large scale adoption prject after wikimania. meta:User:OrenBochman

I've created a Lua Tutorial based on Tim's video, thought It needs assignments and test. I've adapted and expanded a the material from the SQL and Security talks too. However I don't think their videos are online yet. I think the tutorial should have self scoring test/excercise sections. for the SQL it should be:

  • Partial Table Schema
  • Unoptimised Query
  • Hint
  • Solution
