New feature: "CategoryTree in Sidebar stayed opened"

Thanks for your much needed modification to the CategoryTree. I have copied your .js code in my Mediawiki 1.29 https://lacolecciondelavida.es But the effect is that in the Sidebar the expand icon in the categories with SubCategories (Animales) has disappeared and thus I can not expand them. Any hint of what may I be doing wrong?

Hi Juan, The Mediawiki 1.29 category tree source code is pretty different compared to the 1.22 ones. I suggest you to merge highlighted modifications I made for 1.22 (light-yellow color) into the Mediawiki 1.29 category tree source code. I had read the description of Change collapse/expand/empty images in the CategoryTree

but I wonder which file should be modified these code into  ? ext.categoryTree.js ?
