Please do not use Wikimedia Phabricator for testing
editHi B20180! Please note that Wikimedia Phabricator is not a place for testing (see the Phabricator front page recommending to test on https://phab-01.wmflabs.org/ instead). Activity like https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T132109#2506042 disrupts the work of others. Thanks for refraining from such activity in the future! AKlapper (WMF) (talk) 16:39, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for your recommending. B20180 (talk) 16:49, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
- As you abused Wikimedia Phabricator again for testing and hence ignored this warning, I have now disabled your Phabricator account. AKlapper (WMF) (talk) 09:36, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- Oh; I acknowledge from your recommending already but I can not log in in test page from your introduce by log in from Mediawiki.
- I just a new user in that project and I don't know about how to use Phabricator.
- And how long I will use that account again ? B20180 (talk) 09:48, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- The "test page" (you probably mean the site phab-01.wmflabs.org ?) has a separate login as it is only a test page and we do not offer the same security standards. For information about Phabricator, see Phabricator. AKlapper (WMF) (talk) 11:42, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- Yes; I mean that page. And I must register before again.
- It make me confuse because I'm a new comer.
- I don't know why no one send welcome template for me to learn before.
- I want to improve my skill to join in this project.
- I really want to help as I can.
- Sorry for my low skill in this time T T B20180 (talk) 11:59, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- No need to apologize. :) What would you like to achieve, and what would you like to know more about? If you are interested in technical aspects, does How to become a MediaWiki hacker help? :) AKlapper (WMF) (talk) 14:07, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- Excuse me sir; According Hackathons/FAQ. I have this account on Phabricator. But this account was disabled to see information in this time. So; What should I do to joint that conference in the future ? B20180 (talk) 23:23, 24 December 2016 (UTC)
- How is your question related to Phabricator?
- If you want information on joining a Hackathon, that information is available on the page of each Hackathon.
- I'm happy to re-enable your Phabricator account if you tell me what you plan to do in Phabricator and that you won't play/test with our production instance anymore. AKlapper (WMF) (talk) 13:45, 25 December 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you sir;
- Umm... If my account disabled. I can not see any pages when I log in. (For example: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T127050)
- It show this text only:
- "Your account has been disabled."
- So; I began to translate Phabricator/Help into Thai language because in my community not have enough skill. I hope this experience can be useful to help for explain some users from th.wikipedia and/or Thai language sister projects who interest in Phabricator in the future.
- Yes; No way I use Phabricator to play. And I will no use Phabricator to test.
- And maybe I will join some tasks like this (https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/2015_Community_Wishlist_Survey/Results and https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T119703) if I have enough skill in the future. B20180 (talk) 17:12, 27 December 2016 (UTC)
