I'd like to customize the email sent when an account is confirmed. I'dve thought that would be the confirmaccount-email-body and related System Messages text strings. The corresponding requestaccount text is used as expected. However, what I see sent by email is the text from createaccount-text. I can modify the sent message there, but wonder if I've missed a step in doing it the right way. Thanks for any insights.

ConfirmAccount account confirmation emails
ConfirmAccount new user welcome message?
Aaron, pardon me if this isn't the right way to deal with this. I "just" created a MediaWiki site, and your extension has been the first one I've installed so far.
I noticed that after installing your extension, a "user talk" message is posted to the users that I confirm. It is along the lines of:
I've tried searching through MediaWiki, as well as various settings on my site and can't find out where this is coming from? I would like to change it to better reflect some of the duties, responsibilities, and suggested activities for new users.
Is this something your extension is doing? If so, how do I change it, if not, do you have any hints on how I might be able to find it?
Robert, This is found in the SystemMessages area, and if you go into Special Pages and into the System Messages, and look through you'll find this text and can edit it.
Optimizing a 16gig database
I have no idea on how to do this.

I am a new admin to wiki for my company. We currently use the FlaggedRevs extension for pages in certain categories that the powers that be want to be reviewed before changes are made public. I've recently received a request to set up groups of reviewers that are restricted to reviewing only certain categories of pages. My understanding of the extension is that you set people up with the 'reviewer' permission and they can review all categories of pages, so it's an 'all or nothing' situation. Is that correct, or is there a way to set people up with reviewer/approver permission to only certain categories?

Some ConfirmAccount localisation strings not available on translatewiki.net
For the language Cymraeg/Welsh (code: cy) only a small list of ConfirmAccount strings are available for translation on translatewiki.net.
Can you add the latest strings to translatewiki.net please? If so I can add the translations for this language.
I wonder if other languages have good coverage or not.

group Wiki Users
I recently registered on oeis.org and would want to update my profile page (biography).
The page says I need to be a member of group Wiki Users to be able to edit my own page, and the help wiki for User_rights_and_groups instructs users to ask a bureaucrat for permission.
I'm wondering how to proceed. Do I request to join the group or do I request a specific edit to my biography?, and from whom?
ConfirmAccount: Prune on every rejection?

Issue 1: after Admin rejects an account request, the same username/email cannot submit another request., until next prune.
If i want to prune after every rejection, i would call runAutoMaintenance, correct?
Where's the best place to put the call? Can you share a code-snippet?
Issue 2: i refreshed the following 2 pages, 30 times each. Shouldn't that trigger a prune? But, users still cannot submit another request.

I think the call to runAutoMaintenance should be placed in function rejectRequest, in file \extensions\ConfirmAccount\business\AccountConfirmSubmission.php

I created a fix-it task in the extension. I attempted my fix, but it did not seem to work. Any suggestions?
I saw that this extension is now in "not maintained" status and I've been playing around with it extensively. Would it be ok to add some stuff to it and start maintaining it or post any proposed changes to git if you would like to maintain it still? Thanks!

Password Field in Confirm Acounts
I am using Confirm Account with PluggableAuth (Cindy Cicalease, author)So far all seems to work until I try to approve an Account Request, then I get an error on the password array. It seems that Plugableauth, in order to provide autologon/logon via outside authentication, turns off the password requirement and the prompts for entering password. Would it be possible to get the password in your Confirm Account extension to have the password be an optional field?
