User Interaction Consultation/Hovercards for non-logged in users

Brief Description

edit

Showing hovercard information to readers can increase curiosity (citation needed) and perhaps increase reader engagement (research needed).

If you haven't seen this feature, try it out here by:

  1. logging into wikipedia on our desktop version of the site
  2. clicking on "Beta" in the top-right menu.
  3. Selecting "hovercards"
  4. Clicking "save"
  5. Go to any article and hover the mouse over a link.

Problem it solves

edit

Non-logged users do not see any additional information about the page behind the blue link when hovering over it. It could increase engagement by showing readers the additional comment.
