Hi, my name is Markus Glaser. I am located in Regensburg, Germany and I work as head of develompent at Hallo Welt! GmbH, which specializes on MediaWiki in enterprise contexts. Apart from that, I am co-author of some books on Joomla!, the Social Web and of course Wikis.

In the Wikimedia Movement, I held various positions:

• I am currently one of the spokespersons of the MediaWiki Stakeholders' Group.
• From 2013 to 2014, I was member of the Board of Wikimedia Germany.
• From 2013 to 2015, I was part of the Wiki Release Team and responsible for MediaWiki releases.
• From 2012 to 2013, I was member and later Chair of the Council of the Chapters Association (WCA).

Here at mediawiki.org, my focus is on these projects:

• PagedTiffHandler, an extension to render multipage tiff images
• WindowsAzureStorage, an extension to use the Azure cloud as a file backend for MW
• SeleniumFramework, which provides a standard way for writing Selenium tests for MediaWiki
• Extension:BlueSpice, a MediaWiki distribution for enterprise needs

I also do some extension code review. If you want to have your extension reviewed, feel free to ask me. Please note, however, that this is not something "official", just some double check of the code among peers ;)
