About me
Master of Arts (MA) in Social Communication
Welcome to my user page! I am a Brazilian journalist and researcher. My studies about the interface among Information and Communications Technology (ICT), dissemination of scientific information -- focused on science journalism --, gender equality -- focused on gender equality in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEAM) --, sustainability -- focused on the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) --, and related topics, date back to 2016, when the research paper cowritten by me Wiki-Education in Journalism: the Case of Faculdade Cásper Líbero's Wikipedia Project was published. In the same year, I became a Wikipedian in Residence (WiR), as part of the research project Spoken Mathematics: Audiodescription of Probability and Statistics Entries on Wikipedia, developed in the scope of José Reis Program for Incentive to Scientific Journalism of São Paulo Research Foundation, at the Research, Innovation, and Dissemination Center for Neuromathematics (RIDC NeuroMat) of the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo.
