I'm one of the developers for wikipedia:TurnKey Linux, a new opensource project that builds a family of live CDs optimized for various server-type tasks, including TurnKey MediaWiki. My work on this wiki is mostly devoted to informing users that MediaWiki Software appliances exist that may be a convenient alternative to manual installation of MediaWiki.
