Kirill Lokshin
Welcome! Bienvenue! Добро пожаловать!
My name is Kirill Lokshin, and I've been a Wikimedian for more than 15 years, having made my first edit to Wikipedia in June 2005. As an editor, my main area of interest has been military history; I was the first lead coordinator of the Military History WikiProject on the English Wikipedia, and have written a number of articles on the topic:

I was an administrator on the English Wikipedia from 2005 to 2021, and served four terms on its Arbitration Committee (2007–2009, 2010–2011, 2012–2013, and 2016–2017). I was one of the founders of Wikimedia District of Columbia, and served on the organization's Board of Directors from 2011 to 2022 (as secretary from 2011 to 2015 and as president from 2015 to 2022).
I've also served on the Affiliations Committee (2014–2019, as vice-chair from 2016 to 2017 and as chair from 2017 to 2019), the Wikimedia Movement Strategy Working Group on Roles & Responsibilities (2018–2019), the Grant Advisory Committee (2012–2013), the Individual Engagement Grants Committee (2014–2016), the Simple Annual Plan Grants Committee (2015–2018), the Project Grants Committee (2016–2017), and as the ombudsman to the Funds Dissemination Committee (2015–2019).
