About me
Prior to working as a Product Manager for the Mobile Apps team, Jazmin was a Technical Program Manager at the Foundation working with the Editing, Web and Growth teams. Jazmin is an organizer for the Black Pan African Employee Resource Group and serves on the Inclusive Product Development Working Group. Before starting her tenure at the Foundation, Jazmin was a Principal at a privately held consultancy that specialized in marketing and advertising solutions, as well as digital and business transformation. During her time as a Principal consultant she had a focus in education nonprofit agile adoption. Jazmin also formerly served as a Senior Consultant at a large consulting firm where she provided software architecture alignment subject matter expertise for The US Department of Veteran Affairs Information Technology projects. She obtained experience in Digital Marketing while establishing marketing service product offerings for Virginia’s largest commercial sheet-fed printer.
Jazmin is the founder of a workforce development nonprofit for underrepresented youth and a community organizer. Jazmin is a member and former Curator of Global Shapers Community. She is the immediate past Chair of a minority youth mentorship program called Leaders of Tomorrow, an initiative of the National Black MBA Association. She also established the Leaders of Tomorrow Alumni network and served on the Washington DC Chapter Board.
In her spare time, Jazmin enjoys music, traveling with her partner, writing, learning new things, being a chew toy for her cat Milo and puppy Lady.
My work
I've been working for the Wikimedia Foundation since 2018. I'm the Lead Product Manager for the Apps team. Previously, I worked as the Technical Program Manager for the Editing, Growth and Web teams.
