About me
I began working for the Wikimedia Foundation in June 2022. My background is in the social sciences, focusing on language diversity and social inequality. I hold a Ph.D. in Sociology and an M.A. in English Linguistics. I have worked as a university instructor, a data scientist in the nonprofit sector, and a data analyst in the public sector. I am passionate about data transparency, language diversity, and knowledge equity.
My work
I am an analyst on the Research team. My work focuses on
- Knowledge Gaps, to understand and address structural inequalities in Wikimedia projects and the online ecosystem; and
- understanding Wikimedia volunteer developers (one of four audiences the Research team serves), and Wikipedia admins.
