I work for a gaming company and can say that implementing the mediawiki framework has become a tremendous asset. As I have become more familiar with the mediawiki source, I have been working on a few extensions. Mostly they are modifications to existing extensions, but now I am getting into writing my own extensions from scratch.

Force Categorization

There are a handful of product development teams that want to implement our wiki. However, the wiki currently only hosts articles for one product. Since these employees have no knowledge on wiki syntax, I'm afraid to give the green light for everyone to start throwing in their articles and disrupt the clean and organized nature of the wiki. I would love to be able to have an article be forced to be categorized under its proper products category before its submitted. I would also like to be able to search for articles just within a product category (with the ability to search within all).
