About me
Hello! I'm Andrew (he/him), an Oregonian from the US who's been living in Berlin since 2016. I'm a data analyst for the Wikidata team at Wikimedia Deutschland.
Outside my work at Wikimedia Deutschland I'm also an initiator of activist.org, a platform for progressive political activism, and Scribe, an open-source organization that leverages Wikidata to create keyboards for second language learners.

My work
activist is a network for political action that allows people to coordinate and collaborate on the issues that matter most to them. The current goal is the creation of a central platform to discover activist organizations and their events.
Scribe is a community of language enthusiasts, learners and developers creating tools to help people communicate with confidence. Our current project is Scribe-iOS, a pack of iOS and iPadOS keyboards with features including translation, verb conjugation and word annotation. The community also provides the Scribe-Data command line interface for easily accessing language data from Wikidata. Scribe-Android and Scribe-Desktop are currently in development.
