About Me
I am a proud South African citizen, I live in a country that embraces all cultures, heritage, languages, ethnicity. We are truly a great rainbow nation.
My professional background is Agile Software Project Management, having worked in established corporates and FinTechs within the Technology industry, primarily supporting concepts around free banking platforms and services for mass markets in developing countries. I am inspired by what we can achieve in our evolving landscape of Information Systems, especially when we integrate innovation with noble, philanthropic work like what we do at WMF. This is what excites me, being part of tech innovation which supports one of the most endearing philosophies of Free Knowledge for the World. I cannot be prouder to be part of a team of great Wikipedians who endeavour to make a difference every day in our work.
Professionally, I bring domain skills to support teams in driving value through Agile Software delivery practices, with a focus on continuous improvement and value creation. I enjoy supporting teams to be successful through integrated solution delivery, encouraging critical thinking and problem solving, seeking opportunities to build relevant products that support end users within our ecosystem of free knowledge. See me as a partner who supports you as you navigate your OKR work, since plans are not always clear and things do not always go according to a plan, however we can be mindful of how we push our limits to pivot in times of uncertainty, unlocking game changing opportunities, ideas and innovating together for success and long term relevance.
