- If you know that information, mention whether you are editing with the visual editor (you directly edit and format the a article) or with wikitext code (you edit the code that builds the article).
That is poorly worded, confusing and arguably factually erroneous. I suggest one of these two versions:
- If you know, mention whether you are editing with the visual editor (graphical editing mode) or with wikitext (text editing mode).
- If you know, mention whether you are editing with the visual editor (graphical editing mode, links look like this) or with wikitext (text editing mode, links look like [[this]]).
