I want to import the Wiki I developed on WikiSpaces.com to MediaWiki. Can anybody tell me how to do it?
Topic on Manual talk:FAQ
It depends on what information/tools do you have to export the wiki. See Manual:Moving a wiki
Wikispaces is going away. HELP!!
Wikispaces Sez they can export the wikispaces wiki as :
"
- MediaWiki - this is a conversion of your wikispaces data into mediawiki (mediawiki.org) dialect"
Anyone done this?? Help??
Thanks

I guess what you have is Manual:Backing up a wiki#Backup the content of the wiki (XML dump). Follow those instructions and Manual:Importing XML dumps
I made a [] to import Wiki from Wikispace into MediaWiki.
This tool can import pages, files, images, users and history.
I made a script to import Wiki from WikiSpaces into MediaWiki. This tool can import pages, files, images, users and history.
Your script is amazing. Where are the users imported to? I have a problem in that it didn't seem to import the email or passwords for the users so I want to clean out them so I can get them to re-register.
Ilhooq42 that looks amazing.
I am trying to run this script and when I do nothing happens. I suspect that my environment may not have all the tools installed needed to run this script. I don't seem to have the MediaWikiServices.php file in the Includes directory of the wiki, but I'm not sure if I'm looking in the right place. Any advice?
Ignore previous comment - I got the script to run. Thank you so much for this script!
I started a page to have a single hub of discussion for this: Wikispaces. Please help improve it!

When I run the import script, I get the above. Any idea how to fix or work around? I'm trying to import two paid wikis (not free ones). I'm using mediawiki 1.27.4
Thanks,
Bobby
The logic was in FSFile::getPropsFromPath
pre 1.28. It makes little sense to migrate to such an old version of MediaWiki, though - the latest long-term-support version is 1.31.
