There have been a few comments about how the proposed design introduces two language pickers onto the page. Semantically, I wouldn't consider the "200+ more languages" button a true 'language picker' because it doesn't really change the language of anything, it simply reveals or hides a list of links.
A few people we've spoken too however, find it confusing that there is a language picker near the search box and another 'language picker' below the search bar. I think this confusion might be in part because the '200+ more languages' button is shaped... like a button..., so it might be associated with the search form.
New Idea
The idea below is to treat the '200+ more languages' not as a button, but more like a menu item, and also, to associate it more with the top-ten language links around the globe, because its function would be to reveal more languages. Similar to how a 'read more...' button on a blog post would work.
